Smriti: Echoes of Memory

Today’s concert only poses one question: What do we choose to remember? What makes each experience worth remembering?

Each piece in today’s concert is an answer to that question. The performers have taken it upon themselves to find and present their own unique answer as to find the perfect harmony within the multiple ideas of memory.

 

Enjoy both Hindustani and Carnatic styles of music, as well as Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Odissi, and Kuchupudi styles of dance.

Lydia Mendelssohn Theatre is located on 911 N University Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48109. Parking is available at the N4 Thayer Structure on 216 N. Thayer St. and  the Republic Parking System Garage on 324 Maynard St.
